Introducing the Committee

The Human Rights Council (HRC) is dedicated to the promotion and protection of fundamental freedoms and universal rights across the globe. Rooted in the principles of equality, justice, and dignity outlined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the committee provides a platform for dialogue, cooperation, and action on pressing human rights issues. Delegates are tasked with addressing violations, strengthening international mechanisms, and working toward solutions that uphold the inherent rights of all individuals, regardless of race, gender, religion, or nationality.

Topic A: To what extent can governments enforce mandatory vaccinations while upholding fundamental human rights and personal freedoms?

Topic B: Can a global minimum wage policy ensure economic development, the protection of workers’ rights and address the exploitation of migrant labour without creating harmful economic disparities and should it be implemented?
